In addition to Hot Wheels related work, this website includes additional biographical information on Otto Kuhni. He became a friend and I wanted to honor his work and legacy through additional sections of the website.

Learn More About Otto Kuhni and his Works
Otto Kuhni began doing freelance graphic design work 1962 - including some projects for Mattel that predated his involvement with Hot Wheels, which began in 1967. He began doing art for the original blistercard and many of the collector's buttons, play sets, accessory packages for tracks, curves, jumps, loops and double loops, etc. 1968-1970 were busy years for Kuhni, illustrating larger play sets, more blistercards and buttons. Additionally, his artwork appeared on many Collector Cases - including 12, 24, 48 and 72 car cases.
